Who We Are

Kearny Christian Academy was founded in 1981 as a ministry of City of Hope International Church. The elders of the church believed that God had something better for our children than what they were receiving in other school systems. With only a handful of students, Kearny Christian Academy opened its doors. Since that time, Kearny Christian Academy has grown significantly, but our mission and vision remains the same.

We are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment where students can thrive and truly be themselves.

We firmly believe that a God-centered atmosphere lays the foundation for a meaningful education. With our Christ-centered academic curriculum, compassionate staff, weekly chapel services, and daily Bible classes that go beyond mere "religion" lessons, we strive to instill values that can transform students' lives and shape them into the young men and women that God intended them to be.

We are committed to academic excellence and offer a diverse range of courses to ensure a well-rounded education for every student. Recognizing that a student who enjoys school learns better and works harder, we prioritize fostering a love for learning in our classrooms.

Emphasizing the significance of a well-rounded education, we maintain a world-class athletic department and promote the inclusion of music and the arts.

Additionally, we understand the importance of adapting to the ever-evolving technological landscape and aim to equip our students with the skills necessary to thrive in the modern workplace. About Our Students

While Kearny Christian Academy graduates have gone on to attend some of the country's top universities and colleges and have developed successful careers, including teachers, small business owners, professionals, and civil servants; the success we find truly rewarding is where our graduates are in their walk with the Lord and in their active involvement in serving Him. Our graduates have gone on to be pastors, worship leaders, deacons, ushers, missionaries, youth leaders, authors, song writers, volunteers, community workers and more. We believe that every student who graduates from Kearny Christian Academy has received a life changing encounter in God's presence that will remain with them their entire life.
